Kathryn Smith joined ENT Associates of Texas in 2018. She completed her physician assistant education and received her Master’s of Medical Science from Mercer University with honors. After graduation, Kathryn worked with a large ENT practice in Atlanta, GA where she treated a variety of ear, nose, and throat disorders. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), member of the American Board of Otolarngology and licensed by the Texas Medical Board. Kathryn decided to pursue medicine because of her love of people and her desire to serve them in their time of need. She enjoys putting into practice what she has learned in order to help people thrive.
Kathryn grew up in Tuscaloosa, AL and completed her undergrad degree from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. Kathryn and her husband Justin met through a campus ministry called Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) and relocated to Denton, TX for Justin to work for RUF with college students at the University of North Texas. Together they enjoy listening to music, trying new foods, and going on day hikes, and they welcomed their daughter Vivian in March 2018.
